Panel discussion - 'Embracing Women Leadership' (4th Australian Solar + Energy conference, 2019)

During the energy transition, the industry needs to leverage the skills and knowledge of all its staff. This means gender issues need to be brought to the fore of discussions to redress the gender imbalances that remain despite recent initiatives.

It was great that Leaders Associates included a specific session to discuss women leadership.

As part of the Panel, we covered a broad range of topics from the need for supportive company policies to the opportunities for improved female representation on Boards.

Importantly, we also shared our diverse experiences and encouraged everyone to keep discussing this critical topic back in the office and in the field.
